For the 10th straight week, only two schools from Oklahoma made an appearance in the Top 50 of On3’s National High School Football Rankings. However, after sitting at No. 2 nearly the entire season, Owasso secured the No. 1 spot in the state rankings this week.
1. Owasso
Previous Ranking: 2
On Friday, Owasso defeated Yukon 50-14 to finish its regular season with a perfect 10-0 record. In the win, Quarterback Drew Frankenfield completed 12-of-19 passes for 222 yards and five touchdowns despite seeing limited action in the second half.
2. Bixby
Previous Ranking: 1
Bixby has fallen. After winning eight straight games, the Spartans fell 31-20 to Norman on Friday evening. Bixby’s normally-effective offense couldn’t find a rhythm against Norman, failing to score in the first, third and fourth quarters.
3. Jenks
Previous Ranking: 3
Jenks star running back KD Jones made his return to the gridiron on Thursday in Jenks’ comfortable 21-0 win over Edmond North. He didn’t play the previous week due to a groin injury. In the win, Jones erupted for 126 rushing yards and a touchdown on just nine carries. He also hauled in a score through the air.
4. Union
Previous Ranking: 4
Despite suffering a 32-29 loss to Memorial on Thursday, Union maintained its No. 4 spot in this week’s Oklahoma High School Football Rankings. The loss was no fault of Union quarterback Shaker Reisig, who threw for 288 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.
5. Norman
Previous Ranking: 6
Norman jumped one spot in the state rankings this week after upsetting previous No. 1 Bixby. As mentioned previously, Norman’s defense was the standout in the win, only giving up two first downs to Bixby in the second half.

8. Lincoln Christian School
Previous Ranking: 8
Lincoln Christian knows how to win, and does it well. Friday was no exception, with the Bulldogs securing a 48-0 triumph over Idabel. It was a rainy night and the Bulldogs subsequently stuck to the ground game, amassing 356 yards on 33 rushing attempts.
9. Memorial
Previous Ranking: 10
Memorial picked its biggest win of the season yet this past week with its 32-29 victory over Union. It was a comeback effort for Memorial, which trailed Union 29-25 with less than two minutes to play and faced a fourth-and-14 from its own 30-yard line.

Deer Creek bounced back from a three-game losing streak with a narrow 27-20 win over Mustang on Friday. As usual, quarterback Grady Adamson stole the show, completing 14-of-26 passes for 254 and a touchdown while also punching in two rushing scores.
