Houston Atascocita four-star running back Tory Blaylock continues to boost his stock as one of the top senior tailbacks in the nation.

The Oklahoma commit delivered a statement performance on Thursday night. Rushing for over 200 yards and six touchdowns, Blaylock led the On3 Massey Ratings No. 4 team in the nation to an easy 54-7 victory over C.E. King.

While his senior season stats aren’t currently available, Blaylock has been the offensive catalyst for Atascocita, which is now 4-0 on the season. The Eagles arguably have the best résumé in the nation early on in 2024, as they already have wins over Westlake and Katy, both of which are top-15 teams in Texas and top-30 teams nationally. C.E. King entered Thursday night as the No. 29 team in the Lone Star State, per the Massey Ratings.

The 5-foot-10, 195-pound Blaylock rushed for 616 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior, before committing to Oklahoma in March over Texas, Texas A&M and Ohio State. He was also the Texas District 21-6A Offensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore.

When speaking with Sooner Scoop’s Josh McCuistion at the beginning of September, Blaylock reaffirmed his pledge and talked his goals for his final season of his high school season.

“It’s a huge weight off my shoulders, the recruiting process is crazy. It feels good knowing I’ve got people that really want me and it’s the best fit for me. And it’s great to find home,” Blaylock said.

“I want to go for 2,000 yards, that’s a big number but with the schemes we’ve got and a great O-line. I feel like it’s very reasonable and a good goal to have and strive for.”

Blaylock is the No. 300 overall prospect and No. 22 RB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 44 player in Texas.

Another big game is on deck for Atascocita next Friday, Oct. 4. The Eagles head to Summer Creek, the No. 13 team in the nation and No. 8 team in Texas.
