Oregon RB commit Dierre Hill scores four times in electric performance
Althoff Catholic (Ill.) improved to 3-0 Friday night with a 49-21 win over Belleville-East (Ill.), in large part because of a stellar performance on the ground from Oregon four-star running back commit Dierre Hill.
Hill ran for 311 yards and four touchdowns on just 11 carries for Althoff Catholic, per Prep Redzone Illinois.
This success is nothing new for Hill. As a junior, Hill was named the 2023-24 Gatorade Player of the Year in football for the state of Illinois. Last season, Hill rushed for 1,788 yards and 23 touchdowns — averaging 13.6 yards per carry.
“Dierre’s speed and vision make him special,” Centralia head coach Brad Goewey told Gatorade last year. “Their success goes directly through him—he is what makes them so dangerous for opposing defenses.”
