Sienna Betts powers West to win in 2025 McDonald's All-American Girls Game

The 2025 McDonald’s All-American Girls Game showcased a slew of the nation’s top prospects, many of whom delivered on Tuesday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Thanks to a pair of big runs to open both halves, the West team, led by Oklahoma five-star point guard commit Aaliyah Chavez, USC five-star guard signee Jazzy Davidson and UCLA five-star power forward signee Sienna Betts, powered past the East for a 104-82 win.
Betts earned MVP honors with 16 points, seven rebounds and a pair of assists.
West took a commanding 18-0 lead to break things open. Chavez drained her first 3-pointer for the game’s first points. Duke guard signee Emilee Skinner then dished a wicked behind-the-back pass that led to a layup, setting the tone for the night in the Empire State.
East didn’t find its first basket until less than five minutes to go in the first quarter, when Kansas forward signee Jaliya Davis connected on a layup. New South Carolina five-star commit Agot Makeer helped East get going with a couple of quick baskets after she checked in near the end of the quarter.
Facing a 31-14 deficit at the beginning of the second quarter, East began to chip away and cut the lead down to single digits. The Tennessee signee combination of Jaida Civil and Mia Pauldo led to a couple of buckets late in the half, while Stanford signees Hailee Swain and Lara Somfai each knocked down 3-pointers.

It was a 9-0 run that saw West instantly build its lead back up to 18 at the start of the third quarter, but again East answered and chipped away to keep things close. The lead hovered around 10 for the final five minutes of the quarter. Betts proved to be a force in the paint, cleaning the glass. Opening the final period with a 79-66 lead, Cal guard signee Aliyahna ‘Puff’ Morris drilled a 3-pointer to extend West’s cushion. The East team wasn’t able to make a last-gasp run as the West coasted down the stretch.
