The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches finalized their selection for the 2024-25 Texas high school basketball Class 6A All-Tournament Teams. Headlining the field are Kayden Edwards and Silas Rodriguez, the Most Valuable Players in their respective state championship games.

Edwards had 23 points, six rebounds, and two assists in Duncanville’s 54-52 Division 1 state title game victory over Bellaire. He led the Panthers to a 27-7 record, ranking them fourth in the Texas On3 Composite Team Rankings. Joining Edwards in the All-Tournament Team is teammate Cam Smith, who had nine points and 11 rebounds in the championship game.

Meanwhile, the Class 6A Division 1 All-Tournament Team includes Shelton Henderson and Anthony Andrews from runner-up Bellaire. Before joining the Duke Blue Devils, Henderson had 25 points, 15 rebounds, and three blocks in his final Texas high school basketball game. Conversely, Andrews had 17 points, four rebounds, and two blocks in the loss against Duncanville.

Northside Brennan’s Kingston Flemings and Allen’s Antoine Shannon completed the Class 6A Division 1 All-Tournament Team. Flemings scored 23 points in their state semifinal loss to Bellaire, while Shannon has 28 points in the semis against the eventual Texas high school basketball state champions.

Three Guyer players included in Class 6A Division 2 All-Tournament Team

In Division 2, Rodriguez scored 20 points, including the game-winning three-point shot, in the championship game against Katy Jordan. In addition to the title game’s MVP, fellow Guyer teammates Jordan Lowery and Mason White are in the All-Tournament Team.

Lowery had eight points and ten rebounds, while White had ten points, three rebounds, and a steal in that one-point victory over the Warriors. Rodriguez averaged 17.5 points per game and shot 45 percent from the three-point arc during the playoffs. Likewise, Lowery and White averaged 15.8 and 10.3 points per game during their playoff run.

Despite losing the Texas high school basketball Class 6A Division 2 state title game, Katy Jordan has two players in the All-Tournament Team. Jaden Holt had 13 points, while Rayan Fadika finished with six points and 13 rebounds in their final high school basketball game.

Finally, Aidan Buckmon completes the Class 6A Division 2 All-Tournament Team. The 6-foot-3 guard led College Park to the state semifinal against Guyer, finishing with 23 points and three assists.
