St. Joseph (Calif.) beats Holy Innocents (Ga.) at Hoophall Classic

St. Joseph (Calif.) overcame a first-half deficit to beat Holy Innocents (Ga.) 61-57 at the Hoophall Classic on Saturday morning.
Baylor signee and No. 16 overall prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, Tounde Yessoufou, led the Knights with 23 points. Julius Price, Malcolm Price and Gunner Morinini also each finished with double-digit points.

Yessoufou now ranks No. 7 on the all-state list for career points in California, according to Cal-Hi Sports.
Five-Star Plus+ power forward Caleb Wilson, the No. 5 overall recruit in 2025, led Holy Innocents in points and rebounds — recording a double-double with 21 points and 15 boards.
St. Joseph improved to 17-1 on the season, its lone loss coming on Dec. 30 to Calvary Christian Academy (Fla.). Holy Innocents suffered its second loss of the year, falling to 13-2. This was the only game in the showcase for both teams.
