1. Duncanville
Previous: No. 1
A week after beating rival and fellow top-10 team DeSoto handily, Duncanville had no problem with Lancaster, winning 41-7. They are heavily favored in each of their final three regular season games.
2. Atascocita
Previous: No. 2
Atascocita has been dominant against less-talented teams this year but got everything it could handle and more from Kingwood on Friday night. The Eagles ultimately escaped with a 42-41 win, but have by far their biggest game of the season this week against No. 5 North Shore.
3. Southlake Carroll
Previous: No. 4 (+1)
Carroll took care of business in impressive fashion over the weekend, routing previously undefeated Northwest 48-7 on the road. Only two games stand between the Dragons and an undefeated regular season.
4. North Crowley
Previous: No. 5 (+1)
After smacking 1-win Lake Ridge two weeks ago 66-7, North Crowley followed that up with an equally dominant 62-6 win over winless Weatherford on Friday night. Sitting at 7-0, they’re now heavily favored to finish the regular season undefeated.
5. North Shore
Previous: No. 3 (-2)
Following blowout wins over back-to-back winless opponents — in which they won by a combined score of 125-0 — North Shore will get a huge test on the road Friday night at Atascocita, the state’s No. 2 team.
6. DeSoto
Previous: No. 6
The Eagles responded to a blowout loss against Duncanville by beating 1-win Horn 50-24 on Friday night. They’re projected to win each of their next three games handily before the playoffs begin.
7. Coppell
Previous: No. 10 (+3)
The Cowboys’ dream season continues after they walloped a talented Lewisville squad 55-28 on Friday night, helping them make a big rankings move. They’ll host 2-5 Braswell on Friday night before a tough road test at Flower Mound in two weeks.

8. Westlake
Previous: No. 8
Westlake handled its business on Friday, routing Bowie 41-7 and moving to 5-1. The Chaps have now outscored their past three opponents 160-14, but will have a huge test awaiting them Friday at No. 11 Lake Travis.
9. Summer Creek
Previous: No. 7 (-2)
The Bulldogs bludgeoned winless Goose Creek Memorial 81-6 on Friday night and have won their last two by a combined score of 134-13. Games against Humble and Kingwood are next on the slate before a huge showdown to end the regular season against North Shore.
10. Allen
Previous: No. 9 (-1)
The Eagles have completely overmatched their past two opponents, beating Plano West 63-14 and Princeton 78-21. But the schedule gets much tougher this week with No. 18 Prosper coming to town for a top-25 matchup.
