Texas High School Football Scores: Top 25 updates from the Lone Star State

Week 1 of the Texas high school football season got off to a rousing start, with top-25 teams taking home huge wins and a few suffering painful losses.

Each of those teams has one goal in mind: holding a state championship trophy in December at AT&T Stadium. They’ll take one step closer this weekend as they return to the field, and there are pivotal matchups again that could have major impacts come playoff time, including a handful of games between top-25 teams in the state rankings.
