Texas On3 High School Boys Basketball Composite Rankings Top 25 - Feb. 20

The boys high school basketball postseason has started in the state of Texas and the On3 Composite Rankings have updated with the chase for state championships underway.
Ten Lone Star State programs rank inside the national top 100 with William J. Brennan and Allen both ranking as top-five teams in the country.
Below are the top 25 teams in Texas, according to the On3 Composite, as of Feb. 20:

1. William J. Brennan
A 29-2 regular season record set up the Brennan Bears for what could be a dominant run to a state championship. Brennan smacked Reagan 92-44 in the first round of the Texas 6A Division 1 tournament. A matchup with Lake Travis on Friday is on deck.
2. Allen
The 31-1 Allen Eagles handled Braswell 76-55 in the opening round of the 6A Division 1 playoffs. They will look to keep things rolling Friday night against South Grand Prairie.
3. Dynamic Prep
Dynamic Prep finished its season with a 26-4 record after beating Utah Prep (Utah) 66-57 on Feb. 14. The team last lost on Jan. 24 to IMG Academy (Fla.).
4. Lake Ridge
Lake Ridge has a big playoff matchup coming on Friday night as the Eagles face 23-9 Eastlake in the second round. Lake Ridge beat Bell handily, 65-48, on Tuesday.
5. Shadow Creek
Shadow Creek has just two losses on the year and has been perfect in 2025. The Sharks beat Fort Bend Clements 71-60 earlier this week in preparation for Friday’s game against Kingwood.
6. Fort Bend Marshall
Fort Bend Marshall is 33-2 this season and is shooting for a 5A District 2 championship. The Buffaloes hammered Sterling 77-47 on Tuesday and will take on McCallum this Friday.
7. Duncanville
Duncanville entered the playoffs with a 21-7 record and on a five game win streak. Then, the Panthers’ defense stifled Temple in a 58-33 first-round win to move Duncanville onto the second round. That second round game is Friday against Wylie.

8. St. Michael’s
St. Michael’s put up a whopping 102 points in a 36-point win over Concordia Lutheran in the first round of the postseason, and the Warriors will look to keep that offensive production going on Saturday against TMI-Episcopal.
9. Katy Jordan
Katy Jordan has lost just three games this year, and not since Jan. 21. The Warriors have rattled off six straight wins, including a 6A Division 2 first-round win over Foster in a close 61-53 game. Cypress Falls is on deck Friday.
10. Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial
Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial has been perfect this season — a 36-0 record and a blowout win over Palmview in the first round of the 5A D1 playoffs. The Eagles will look to keep rolling against Vela this Friday.
