1. William J. Brennan

A 29-2 regular season record set up the Brennan Bears for what could be a dominant run to a state championship. Brennan smacked Reagan 92-44 in the first round of the Texas 6A Division 1 tournament. A matchup with Lake Travis on Friday is on deck.

2. Allen

The 31-1 Allen Eagles handled Braswell 76-55 in the opening round of the 6A Division 1 playoffs. They will look to keep things rolling Friday night against South Grand Prairie.

3. Dynamic Prep

Dynamic Prep finished its season with a 26-4 record after beating Utah Prep (Utah) 66-57 on Feb. 14. The team last lost on Jan. 24 to IMG Academy (Fla.).

4. Lake Ridge

Lake Ridge has a big playoff matchup coming on Friday night as the Eagles face 23-9 Eastlake in the second round. Lake Ridge beat Bell handily, 65-48, on Tuesday.

5. Shadow Creek

Shadow Creek has just two losses on the year and has been perfect in 2025. The Sharks beat Fort Bend Clements 71-60 earlier this week in preparation for Friday’s game against Kingwood.

Fort Bend Marshall is 33-2 this season and is shooting for a 5A District 2 championship. The Buffaloes hammered Sterling 77-47 on Tuesday and will take on McCallum this Friday.

7. Duncanville

8. St. Michael’s

St. Michael’s put up a whopping 102 points in a 36-point win over Concordia Lutheran in the first round of the postseason, and the Warriors will look to keep that offensive production going on Saturday against TMI-Episcopal.
