Top 2025 quarterbacks: Updated stats for nation's best passers
Top quarterbacks in the 2025 recruiting class continue to put up big numbers as the high school regular season comes to a close and the playoffs loom over the next few weeks.
On3 is tracking the numbers for the country’s best passers below:
Note: Florida State QB commit Tramell Jones and Missouri QB commit Matt Zollers are out indefinitely with lower leg injuries, and Georgia QB commit Ryan Montgomery will miss his entire senior season with a torn ACL suffered in Week 1.
Five-Star Plus+ Bryce Underwood
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 1
High School: Belleville (Mich.)
Status: Committed to LSU
Stats (through 10/30): 80/110 (72.7%), 1,306 yards, 19 TDs, 1 INT
Despite a limited number of attempts because of how dominant his team has been, Underwood continues to show why he’s the nation’s No. 1 quarterback. He has his team out to an 9-0 start and leads one of the state’s most prolific offenses. Arguably his most impressive jump this fall hasn’t come throwing the ball, but rushing it. In addition to his 19 passing TDs, he’s run for multiple touchdowns in a few different games this season.
Five-Star Plus+ Tavien St. Clair
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 2
High School: Bellefontaine (Ohio)
Status: Committed to Ohio State
Stats (through 10/30):
The Ohio State-bound QB has shown every bit of his skill set through 10 games this fall, accounting for 35 total touchdowns, including seven on the ground.
5-star Keelon Russell
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 12
High School: Duncanville (Texas)
Status: Committed to Alabama
Stats (through 10/30): 151/207 (72.9%), 2,464 yards, 35 TDs, 1 INT
Russell is putting up one of the most prolific seasons in Texas high school football history at the quarterback position, tossing 35 TDs in just seven games in the state’s highest classification. If he can continue this pace, he has a chance to put together one of the state’s all-time passing seasons.
5-star Husan Longstreet
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 23
High School: Centennial (Calif.)
Status: Committed to Texas A&M
Stats (through 10/30): 92/142 (64.8%), 1,425 yards, 18 TDs, 4 INT
Longstreet opened the season with some injury woes but has shown why he’s a five-star while leading the Huskies to a top-5 California ranking. In addition to his passing numbers, he’s rushed for more than 300 yards and five scores.
5-star Matt Zollers
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 31
High School: Spring-Ford (Pa.)
Status: Committed to Missouri
Stats (through 10/30): 54/92 (58.7%), 611 yards, 3 TDs, 3 INT*
Zollers has had an up-and-down start to his senior season through the air but has proven to be one of the country’s most dynamic dual-threat QBs. Unfortunately, he suffered a gruesome ankle injury that will cause him to miss the rest of the season.
5-star Deuce Knight
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 32
High School: George County (Miss.)
Status: Committed to Auburn
Stats (through 10/30): 66/94 (70.2%), 1,596 yards, 21 TDs, 1 INT
Knight, who flipped from Notre Dame to Auburn earlier this month, was terrific through three games for George County before going down with an injury. He’s back on the field though, putting together an eye-popping nine-touchdown performance last week.
4-star Julian Lewis
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 36
High School: Carrollton (Ga.)
Status: Committed to USC
Stats (through 10/30): 156/205 (76.1%), 2,259 yards, 34 TDs, 4 INT
Lewis has been one of the nation’s most prolific passers dating back to his freshman season, and his senior campaign is more of the same. The USC pledge — who is also considering Indiana and Colorado — is completing better than 75% of his passes and has Carrollton ranked No. 2 in Georgia heading into this weekend’s games.
4-star George MacIntyre
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 104
High School: Brentwood Academy (Tenn.)
Status: Committed to Tennessee
Stats (through 10/30): 130-185 (70.2%), 1,912 yards, 11 TDs, 3 INT
MacIntyre struggled mightily last season while Brentwood finished 2-10, but the Eagles are 6-3 this season behind improved play from him, including a win over rival Lipscomb Academy.
4-star Bryce Baker
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 105
High School: East Forsyth (N.C.)
Status: Committed to North Carolina
Stats (through 10/30): 148/190 (77.9%), 2,389 yards, 28 TDs, 2 INT

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 110
High School: Noxubee County (Miss.)
Status: Committed to Mississippi State
Stats (through 10/30): 107/182 (58.8%), 1,683 yards, 23 TDs, 3 INT
One of the nation’s most dynamic dual-threat quarterbacks, Taylor has led his squad to a 6-2 record while adding 825 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground to his passing totals.
4-star Jaron Keawe-Sagapolutele
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 167
High School: Campbell (Hawaii)
Status: Committed to Cal
Stats (through 10/30): 152/205 (74.1%), 2,524 yards, 39 TDs, 2 INT

Keawe-Sagapolutele was one of the biggest surprises at this summer’s Elite 11 Finals, and the Cal commit has been even better this fall. The Golden Bears will have to work hard to keep him though, as Oregon and Georgia are among the schools circling. He took an official visit with the Ducks last week and will see the Bulldogs Nov. 16.
4-star Ty Hawkins
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 183
High School: IMG Academy (Fla.)
Status: Committed to SMU
Stats (through 10/30): 69/105 (65.7%), 940 yards, 10 TDs, 1 INT
Hawkins transferred to national powerhouse IMG Academy this season and has provided them a huge spark at the quarterback position. The Ascenders were off for a few weeks, a combination of byes and postponements due to the recent hurricanes in Florida. They returned to the field over the weekend, sneaking by East St. Louis (Ill.) 14-13.
4-star K.J. Lacey
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 190
High School: Saraland (Ala.)
Status: Committed to Texas
Stats (through 10/30): 111/178 (62.4%), 1,747 yards, 24 TDs, 4 INT
After sitting out a few weeks due to injury, Lacey is back in the lineup for 9-0 Saraland, who is in search of an Alabama state title. Since his return, the Texas-bound passer has been on a tear and now has 24 passing touchdowns this season.
4-star Akili Smith Jr.
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 198
High School: Lincoln (Calif.)
Status: Committed to Oregon
Stats (through 10/30): 104/170 (61.2%), 1,672 yards, 13 TDs, 8 INT
The son of Ducks legend Akili Smith, Akili Jr. has been on a bit of a roller-coaster this year with his consistency throwing the ball. Despite that, Lincoln still sits at 7-2 and is among the top 25 teams in the Golden State.
4-star Carter Smith
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 199
High School: Bishop Verot (Fla.)
Status: Committed to Michigan
Stats (through 10/30): 88/142 (62%), 1,091 yards, 11 TDs, 1 INT
The dual-threat star for Bishop Verot has been solid this season, leading them to a 4-3 record while adding 484 rushing yards and 10 more scores on the ground.
4-star Luke Nickel
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 249
High School: Milton (Ga.)
Status: Committed to Miami
Stats (through 10/30): 121/181 (66.9%), 2,045 yards, 22 TDs, 6 INT
The Miami commit continues to shine this season for one of Georgia’s top prep squads, leading Milton to a No. 3 state ranking and accounting for 24 total TDs in nine games.
4-star TJ Lateef
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 361
High School: Orange Lutheran (Calif.)
Status: Committed to Nebraska
Stats (through 10/30): 178/251 (70.9%), 1,914 yards, 20 TDs, 6 INT
Lateef continues to dice up defenses for one of California’s premier teams this season. He’s notched 24 total touchdowns (including four on the ground) and has the Lancers out to a 7-2 record with one game to go.
4-star Kevin Sperry
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 391
High School: Guyer (Texas)
Status: Committed to Oklahoma
Stats (through 10/30): 108/189 (57.1%), 1,472 yards, 18 TDs, 5 INT
After moving in from Midwest City (Okla.) Carl Albert over the summer, Sperry started slow but looks to be hitting his stride with the playoffs looming in a few weeks. A pleasant surprise has been his running ability, totaling more than 400 yards on just 73 carries.
