Winchester High School (WHS) is a small public school located in Winchester, Illinois, serving students from the surrounding communities of Winchester, Alsey, and Manchester. As part of the Winchester Community Unit School District 1, WHS has an enrollment of around 165 students. The school competes in the Western Illinois Valley Conference and shares its athletic programs with Bluffs High School through the West Central Co-op. WHS's teams are known as the Cougars.
