Quadir Copeland, a 6-foot-6 combo guard, has committed to Syracuse basketball for the class of 2022, he tells On3.

Copeland is the Orange’s third commitment in the class, following four-star small forward’s Justin Taylor and Kamari Lands. The Syracuse Orange have now made a case for a top-10 ranked recruiting class.

Copeland plays for Life Center Academy (N.J.) High School. He chose the Orange over Oklahoma State, Oregon, DePaul, Miami, Maryland, among others.

Quadir Copeland on why he chose Syracuse

“Syracuse is just the place for me,” Quadir Copeland said. “I can play my game and be myself. I can be coached and learn about the game from a Hall of Fame coach (Jim Boeheim). And win a national championship.”

“I also think we can make an impact…me and Justin Taylor in the backcourt and Kamari (Lands).
