2022 Heisman odds updated after pivotal Week 6 of college football season
With the college football regular season at its halfway point, VegasInsider released an updated list of Heisman Trophy odds following an exciting Week 6. Several players saw changes in their odds from Week 5, both rising and falling up the list.
Alabama quarterback Bryce Young continues to see his odds decline after being sidelined this past week with an AC joint injury. He is now tied for third place with Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker, as both have odds of +1400. That will make Saturday’s matchup between the No. 3 Crimson Tide and No. 6 Volunteers that much more interesting, should Young be cleared to play.
Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud is still the leader by a longshot, coming in with -140 odds to take home the Heisman Trophy. He is coming off of his best performance of the season, as he went 21-of-26 passing for 361 yards, six touchdowns and an interception in a win against Michigan State.

USC quarterback Caleb Williams is in second behind Stroud with odds of +1000. He has thrown for 1,590 yards and scored 17 total touchdowns across six games. Meanwhile, UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson moved into the top five after an upset of Utah this past week in which he scored five total touchdowns.
Michigan running back Blake Corum is the first non-QB listed, as he is tied with Thompson-Robinson for the fifth spot. He has rushed for more than 100 yards in each of the past three games.
