2022 Heisman odds updated after pivotal Week 7 of college football season
After wild Week 7 that saw several big performances from Heisman contenders, VegasInsider has updated its 2022 Heisman Trophy odds. The list has been trimmed down from last week, naming just 24 players.
Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker now has the second-best odds (+500) after throwing for five touchdowns in a 52-49 win against Alabama, the Volunteers’ first in 15 seasons. Hooker has recorded 1,817 yards passing, 287 yards rushing, 18 total touchdowns and one interception so far this season.
Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud is still the leader with odds of -110. The Buckeyes were on bye this past week, but Stroud has thrown for 1,737 yards, 24 touchdowns and just three interceptions through six games.
