Week 8 provided the college football world with plenty of exciting moments, and now the Heisman Trophy odds per Vegas Insider reflect the action we saw on the field.

The biggest differences from last week to this week’s odds are that two quarterbacks are beginning to pull away from the pack — Ohio State‘s CJ Stroud and Tennessee‘s Hendon Hooker.

After the top of the field has been bunched up for the entirety of the season, the contenders are beginning to be separated from the pretenders. Stroud lead the way at -110, but Hooker is right on his tail at +200. The next closest is star USC quarterback Caleb Williams, but he’s a mile away at +1200.

Alas, one of the biggest movers on the list was former Auburn quarterback turned Oregon star Bo Nix, who’s odds jumped from +5000 to +3500 after defeating undefeated UCLA last weekend. Still, he’s at the bottom of the mountain compared the the favorites, but he’s trying to climb to the top.

Nevertheless, it’ll be fun to watch whether anyone can catch Stroud and Hooker, or if the Heisman Trophy is a two-man race over the remainder of the season. Below is the full list of Heisman Trophy odds after Week 8, according to Vegas Insider.
