For just the second time since 2013, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner returns with a chance to become the first two-time Heisman winner since Ohio State’s Archie Griffin in 1975.

Last season’s winner, Alabama QB Bryce Young, is an obvious early favorite to claim this season’s award. But who else is going to be in the mix? With spring ball cranking up around the country, let’s take an early look.

The last Heisman winner to return was Florida State QB Jameis Winston. After winning the award in 2013, he finished sixth in Heisman voting in 2014.
