2022 offensive lineman Matthew McCoy releases top 6

Saint Augustine (Fla.) Creekside offensive tackle Matthew McCoy has released his top six schools.
The 2022 recruit has a top six of Florida, Maryland, Miami, Minnesota, Mississippi State and UCF.
According to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, McCoy is the No. 843 overall recruit in the country.

On3 rates him as the No. 26 offensive tackle in the country and No. 41 player from the state of Florida.
Corey Bender of Gators Online thought Florida was going to land McCoy before its coaching changes and wrote last month that he is unsure where the three-star lineman will go.
“When Dan Mullen, and especially John Hevesy, were dismissed from Florida, I believed the ship had sailed,” Bender wrote. “McCoy was offered shortly after the Vanderbilt game and then named UF the leader; however, his recruitment is more open as of today, and understandably so.”
