2023 ACC All-Tournament Team Released

The 2023 ACC All-Tournament Team was released on Sunday night, following Clemson’s 11-5 victory over the Miami Hurricanes in the 2023 ACC Baseball Tournament Championship. Slugger Caden Grice of Clemson won Tournament MVP honors. He’s one of the best two-way players in all of college baseball and he played like it in this year’s tournament. Grice was pivotal in guiding the Tigers to their 11th ACC Tournament crown. He recently blasted his third grand slam of the season. Clemson has won 16 straight games and 26 of their last 29. They continue to play like the hottest team in all of college baseball.

It shouldn’t be surprising that the Tigers had four players named to the 2023 ACC All-Tournament Team: Caden Grice, second baseman Riley Bertram, outfielder Cooper Ingle, and outfielder Cam Cannarella. The Miami Hurricanes had three players land on the ACC All-Tournament Team, including slugger Yohandy Morales and closer Andrew Walters.

First Base: Nick Kurtz, Wake Forest

Second Base: Riley Bertram, Clemson

Third Base: Yohandy Morales, Miami

Shortstop: Zack Prajzner, Notre Dame

Outfield: Cooper Ingle, Clemson

Outfield: Cam Cannarella, Clemson

Outfield: Zach Levenson, Miami

Utility/DH: Caden Grice, Clemson

Pitcher: Andrew Walters, Miami

Pitcher: Rhett Lowder, Wake Forest

Wake Forest has been the top-ranked team in college baseball, and they landed two selections on the ACC All-Tournament Team.

Clemson belted three home runs in the ACC Tournament Championship, including three-run blasts by All-Tournament team selection Riley Bertram and Will Taylor in the seventh inning. They scored eight runs in that inning and that would prove to be the difference in their 11-5 comeback victory. The Tigers started their 2023 campaign 2-8 in the ACC. They’ve drastically turned things around and now they’re the hottest team in college baseball.

Four Clemson head coaches have won the ACC in their first season: Bill Wilhelm in 1958, Jack Leggett in 1994, Monte Lee in 2016, and now Erik Bakich adds his name to that list.

ACC teams will now await the official release of the 2023 NCAA Tournament field. That will happen during the 2023 NCAA Baseball Tournament Selection Show. It will be nationally televised on Monday, May 29th on ESPN2. The show is set to begin at noon EST.
