Full 2023 All-American Bowl Roster Breakdown

Live Updates from All-American Bowl Practice

11:50 a.m. CT: Both teams have wrapped for the morning.

11:32 a.m. CT — West: Ole Miss safety commit Braxton Myers comes down with a pick in the final play of team, covering Ka’Morreun Pimpton. Believe he picked off Lincoln Kienholz — the ball hung a bit and Myers came down with it. — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

11:22 a.m. CT — West: TCU-bound wideout Cordale Russell put on a show for all in attendance at West practice with a few outstanding reps during red zone. Russell is an athletic pass catcher of course, and he showed off the vertical jump, catch radius, and the strong hands we’ve been waiting to see all week after a few drops throughout competition early on. He has enormous upside, and has made big plays routinely in San Antonio and the last two years of his prep career at North Mesquite in the DFW area. — Sam Spiegelman, National Recruiting Analyst

11:16 a.m. CT — West: Another team period at West practice, and Texas wide receiver signee Ryan Niblett just got deep on Oklahoma corner signee Jasiah Wagoner for what would’ve gone for a long touchdown. TCU signee Cordale Russell makes a nice adjustment on a pass downfield from Pierce Clarkson. Clemson EDGE signee Tomarrion Parker has provided constant pressure off the edge. On the offensive line, Utah signees Caleb Lomu and Spencer Fano have stood out. At linebacker, Texas signee Anthony Hill had a big hit, and Russell just separated for another long catch. He’s been the most consistent with getting separation from this group of corners. — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

11:10 a.m. CT — West: Back to routes on air for the West team, and LSU tight end signee Ka’Morreun Pimpton is showing off his catch radius, which might be better than anyone else this cycle. Really using his 36-plus inch arms to go up and get the football. — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

11:02 a.m. CT — West: Ohio State signee Lincoln Kienholz showing well this morning in the team period, hitting Adarius Redmond over the middle. — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

10:53 a.m. CT — West: Florida State signee Blake Nicholson with a good snatch and coverage of Austin Novosad. Moves really well and coverage there. Malachi Coleman was a big play threat downfield. His size between a receiver and tight end at 6-foot-4 with a massive catch radius and really sure hands has stood out throughout this week in San Antonio. Rueben Owens getting a lot of run out of the backfield another top performer this week, with his speed to the edge. It has been impressive catching the ball as well.

Both Josh Mickens, the Ohio State signee, and other Big Ten signee Bai Jobe (Michigan State) did well containing the quarterbacks as they rolled out during the live. Mickens was very twitchy during one-on-ones and again during position warmups earlier on Thursday, and it showed during the live session. Jobe certainly playing tough and containing Pierce Clarkson on a few scampers outside the pocket today. — Sam Spiegelman, National Recruiting Analyst

10:35 a.m. CT — East: LSU signee DJ Chester has worked at tackle, guard and center this morning. Big-time technician with versatility. — Jeremy Johnson, National Recruiting Writer

10:34 a.m. CT — East: East practice today is working in shirts and shorts, no pads. Dante Moore making it look effortless during the routes-on-air period. Throws such a pretty ball, easy flick of the wrist. — Cody Bellaire, On3 Scouting and Rankings Assistant

10:27 a.m. CT — West: Alabama signee Yhonzae Pierre is not dressed out this morning. Uncommitted On300 TE Walker Lyons is also here watching the practice. Lyons missed most of his senior season with a broken leg. Pierre says he has a hip flexor strain and plans on practicing tomorrow and playing in the game on Saturday. — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

10:22 a.m. CT — West: We’re now in warmups now for the West practice at the Alamodome. Nebraska EDGE signee Princewill Umanmielen is on the sideline again today and doesn’t look like he’ll go. — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

10:18 a.m. CT — West: Oregon QB signee Austin Novosad impressing with his touch on throws; he’s been really effective near the goal line as well as downfield, taking advantage of some of the bigger, wide receivers, as well as tight ends, including Ducks target Jamari Johnson. — Sam Spiegelman, National Recruiting Analyst

10:14 a.m. CT — East: Team East update: working on punt right now, Ohio State wide receiver signee Brandon Inniss taking second reps as a returner. — Matt Parker, Lettermen Row recruiting analyst

10:00 a.m. CT — East: The East team is starting to get going here. No pads today after the joint practice yesterday afternoon. — Jeremy Johnson, National Recruiting Writer
