2023 Big Ten Baseball Tournament field, schedule are set

The 2023 Big Ten Baseball Tournament field and schedule has been finalized after a grueling regular season.

Now, the best of the best, from the Maryland Terrapins to the Indiana Hoosiers and the Iowa Hawkeyes, will compete to be crowned the champions of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament.

“The 41st Big Ten Conference Baseball Tournament will be held May 23-28, 2023, at Charles Schwab Field Omaha (formerly TD Ameritrade Park) in Omaha, Neb., site of the NCAA Men’s College World Series,” wrote the Big Ten. “The Big Ten Tournament features an eight-team, six-day, double-elimination format.

“Every tournament game will be televised live on the Big Ten Network (BTN) and streamed via the web, smartphones, tablets and connected devices through the FOX Sports App.”

Last season, it was the Michigan Wolverines who captured glory in the Big Ten Baseball Tournament, defeating the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in the title game. It helped catapult them to the World Baseball Classic, while the Scarlet Knights were controversially on the outside looking in.

Who will take home the crown in 2023? It remains to be seen, but it should be a heck of a lot of fun getting there. Here’s the 2023 Big Ten Baseball Tournament schedule, as announced by the conference.
