Covington (Ga.) Newton four-star guard Stephon Castle announced his top six schools of Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Ohio State and UConn.

Castle is the No. 23 overall recruit in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard was on an official visit to Storrs, Conn., this past weekend.

He is the top shooting guard in the country, according to the On3 Consensus. He is the third-best player in Georgia behind Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton combo guard Kanaan Carlyle and Marietta (Ga.) Wheeler combo guard Isaiah Collier.

Castle was at a camp in Auburn, Ala., over the summer. He said he really enjoyed the university and said the Tigers were recruiting him the most at that time.

“I really like Auburn,” Stephon Castle said at the time. “They all treat me like family; the players, the coaching staff. I really like coming here.”
