2023 Walter Camp Preseason All-America Teams released
The 2023 Walter Camp preseason All-America teams have been named and once again college football features a stacked cast of players who will be gracing the gridiron this fall.
Among the inclusions are 2022 Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Caleb Williams, with the USC star earning the nod on the first team offense. Also making the cut were a pair of Ohio State receivers, with Marvin Harrison Jr. (first team) and Emeka Egbuka (second team) likely to make life significantly easier on whatever quarterback wins the battle to replace CJ Stroud.
Defensively there are some younger players who notably made the cut, with LSU linebacker Harold Perkins earning a first-team nod and Georgia defensive back Malaki Starks earning a second-team nod.
Both players are expected to be mainstays on defenses that should remain among the SEC’s best.
The Big Ten and the SEC split the honors at running back, where Michigan‘s Blake Corum and Ole Miss‘ Quinshon Judkins earned first-team recognition and Wisconsin‘s Braelon Allen and Arkansas‘ Raheim Sanders earned second-team nods.
