2023 wideout Kyle Parker recaps visits to Texas, Louisville
Lucas (Texas) Lovejoy wide receiver Kyle Parker has had a busy last two weeks visiting Texas and Louisville.
Parker caught up with On3’s Gerry Hamilton to talk about those two visits and more about his recruitment.
The Texas native said he enjoyed his visit to Austin, and highlighted his relationship with wide receivers coach Brennan Marion.
“Everything was nice over there,” Parker said. “I liked it a lot and then coach Marian over there, one of the coolest coaches I’ve been around. That helped out a lot too. So I definitely like Texas.”
Parker said Marion is a very relatable coach and a “goofy, funny” guy.
This past weekend, Parker made the trip to Louisville, Ky., to visit the Cardinals.
“The coaching staff and everything was cool,” Parker said. “I liked it up there. They had some nice facilities.”

Parker also mentioned the commitment of Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star quarterback Pierce Clarkson to Louisville, which happened Friday. Clarkson and Parker have become quick friends after meeting about a month ago through 7-on-7, Parker added.
Parker is unranked in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. But that is likely going to change soon.
He has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6,000. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
He added that he still has a way to go in his recruitment.
“I’m not solid on anything so like probably wait for more offers,” Parker said. “I’m not like solid if I’m going to make a decision anytime soon or anything yet.”
