2024 Big Ten Baseball Tournament Day 4: Results, schedule, updated bracket

Day 4 of the 2024 Big Ten Baseball Tournament features some intense action slated for Friday, with the Ohio State Buckeyes and Nebraska Cornhuskers facing off to begin the afternoon.

The game was a rematch of Tuesday’s action, where the Buckeyes defeated the Cornhuskers by a whopping 13 runs. However, Nebraska rebounded with a win over Purdue in Game 5, while Ohio State fell to Indiana by 7 runs on Thursday.

Later this evening, the Michigan Wolverines and Indiana Hoosiers will clash. Michigan won their first game of the tournament, defeating Iowa in extra innings on Wednesday, but they fell to Penn State on Thursday. On the other hand, Indiana won Game 1 of the tournament on Tuesday over Purdue, and then defeated Ohio State on Thursday.

Nebraska won the first game of the day, returning the blowout favor to Ohio State with a 12-5 beat down in an elimination game.

In the night cap, Michigan advanced to the semifinals over Illinois, 4-2, on the back of a Shohei Ohtani-like performance from Will Rogers, who tossed 8.2 innings of nearly-scoreless ball, including going seven innings without allowing a hit. He also came up with a pair of hits at the plate, including an RBI double. This all after catching the first two games for Michigan.
