2024 CB Eli Bowen names top two schools
Class of 2024 cornerback Eli Bowen of Denton (Texas) Guyer High narrowed his list to two schools Friday afternoon.
The 5-foot-9, 180-pounder is down to just Texas and Oklahoma after receiving more than 20 offers.
He is also the younger brother of 2023 five-star safety Peyton Bowen, who signed with Oklahoma. Eli Bowen took official visits to both of his top schools in the month of June.
Bowen ranks as the No. 468 player in the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also tabbed as the nation’s No. 47 cornerback and the No. 80 player in the state of Texas.

Bowen discusses finalists
Ahead of naming his top two schools, Bowen quickly broke down each of his finalists:
Oklahoma: It’s like a family. I have a really good connection with the coaches and I’m close with the players and the commits. I think the SEC can bring them to the next level.
Texas: I got a great connection with them and It’s a brand everyone can recognize around the world. Also, I think they really got something special going there and I’m excited to see it unfold.
