2024 College World Series: Rocco's Jello Shot Challenge Tracker
Fans are enjoying themselves inside and outside the ballpark at the College World Series this season. Specifically, diehards are embracing the CWS Jello Shot Challenge, an annual tradition held at Rocco’s Pizza and Cantina, a bar only a short walk from Charles Schwab Field.
The latest update is here, as of 1:15 p.m. ET on Monday ahead of the national title deciding Game 3.
In the challenge, the fanbases of each of the eight teams in the CWS compete to tally the most jello shots purchased by the end of the tournament. It’s a lucrative competition. In 2022, Rocco’s generated 42% of its annual revenue during the 14-day period.

Last year, LSU fans threw back a record-breaking 68,888 shots during the Tigers’ run to their seventh national championship in program history. For every shot sold, the bar donates $1 to the shot-drinking university’s food bank and another 50 cents to Heartland Food Bank in Omaha.
The shots are $5 a piece this year. They are color-coded, representing each team present at the CWS. Since the inaugural challenge in 2019, a different team has won each year. With LSU not at the CWS this season, Rocco’s will crown a new victor at the end of the tournament.
In the bar’s first update, Kentucky had jumped out to a narrow lead. However, since then, the standings have shifted. The two teams in the championship series now sit at the top
