2024 Five-Star CB Ellis Robinson IV names Top 5
Five-star cornerback Ellis Robinson IV of New Haven (CT) IMG Academy is down to five schools– Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Miami, and Colorado.
The 6-foot, 180 pounder went in-depth on his finalists.
Alabama: Everytime I talk to the coaches and go down for a visit they make me feel like a top priority for them.
Georgia: When I’m at Georgia it’s like a family and they treat me just like I’m already there. It makes me feel at home and comfortable being there.
LSU: It’s a whole different vibe out there, from the people and the food. It was probably my favorite visit I’ve went on.
Miami: Miami was my first ever visit. Since the day I stepped foot on campus, I loved it there. From the way the coaches treated me to my family as well.

Colorado: Coach Prime being there is an eye opener on the program. I think they can really turn Colorado around and I’m interested to get up there and see everything up there for myself.
Ellis Robinson IV Scouting Summary
“Ball-hawking defensive back with elite length and ability to make plays on the ball as a high school underclassman,” On3’s Director of Scouting Charles Power wrote. “Dominated competition in New York’s Catholic league as a sophomore, bringing in eight interceptions. Made several impressive, acrobatic picks. Has advanced ball skills as a cornerback, which he pairs with outstanding length. Measured in at 5-foot-11.5, 169 pounds with a 6-foot-7 wing-span prior to his junior season. Also tests as a very good athlete, running a 4.56 second electronically-timed 40-yard dash. Transferred to IMG Academy for his junior season and should see an uptick in competition as a high school upperclassman.”
Robinson ranks as the No. 7 player in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting sites. He also tabs in as the No. 1 cornerback and the No. 2 player in the state of Florida.
