2024 No. 1 prospect Dylan Raiola decommits from Ohio State
2024 five-star Chandler (Ariz.) quarterback Dylan Raiola has decommitted from Ohio State, On3 has confirmed.
The No. 1 overall prospect 2024 On3 Consensus had built a strong relationship with head coach Ryan Day, quarterbacks Corey Dennis and the Ohio State staff, and he didn’t see any reason to wait any longer when he committed in May.
But earlier this week, he removed all mentions of Ohio State from his social media accounts and that started speculation about his commitment to the Buckeyes. On Saturday, On3 confirmed that Raiola decommitted from the Buckeyes earlier this week and has reopened his recruitment.

Sources tell On3 that Raiola — after committing as early as he did — wanted to re-evaluate his options as other teams have continued to recruit him. Among those programs are Georgia, USC and Oregon, while others could jump into the mix, including TCU, where Raiola’s sister attends college, and Nebraska, his dad’s alma mater.
Raiola isn’t expected to make a next decision anytime soon and will likely take the next few months to reconsider his options.
