2024 SEC Baseball Tournament bracket officially set
An exciting regular season is in the books. That means it’s time for SEC teams to converge on Hoover for the league’s baseball tournament, and the bracket is set.
For the first time since 2006, Kentucky secured a share of the SEC title when the Wildcats defeated Vanderbilt via run-rule on Friday. The Bat Cats had a chance to secure an outright championship, but fell short in the series finale and finished tied with Tennessee for the title.
The Volunteers defeated South Carolina on Saturday to not only finish tied with Kentucky, but also lock up the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. As a result of the tiebreaker, UK dropped to the No. 3 seed behind Arkansas.
Now, it’s on to Hoover, where 12 teams will compete for the championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The bottom two teams – Auburn and Missouri – will both miss out on tournament action.
Here is the full 2024 SEC Baseball Tournament bracket and schedule. Games will start on Tuesday with a single elimination format, then double elimination starts Wednesday before going back to one-and-done on Saturday.
