2024 SEC Baseball Tournament Day 4: Results, schedule, updated bracket

After nonstop wall-to-wall action on the first three days of the 2024 SEC Baseball Tournament, play slows down on Friday as we had just two games on the slate ahead of Saturday’s semifinals.

No. 10 South Carolina kicked off Friday’s pair of games with a nail-biting 6-5 triumph over No. 3 Kentucky. Gavin Casas was a standout in the win, crushing a three-run shot to give the Gamecocks an early lead. The team never looked back and will advance to the SEC Tournament semifinals.

Tennessee closed the action-packed day with a 6-5 victory over Mississippi State. The heated showdown was a back-and-forth affair. Tennessee’s Blake Burke gave the Volunteers a one-run lead with a single-shot homer to center field in the top of the eighth inning.
