2024 SEC Basketball Tournament: Seeds, Bracket, Schedule

The regular season is in the books, which means the 2024 SEC Basketball Tournament is set. All 14 teams will converge on Nashville March 13-17 with an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on the line.

Tennessee enters as the No. 1 seed after winning the outright conference title earlier this week against South Carolina. There was still plenty left to figure out as SEC teams wrapped up the regular season on Thursday, but the bracket is now locked in.

Here’s a look at the full schedule, seeds and bracket for the 2024 SEC Basketball Tournament.

First Round – March 13

Game 1: No. 12 seed Arkansas vs. No. 13 seed Vanderbilt, 7 p.m. ET
Game 2: No. 11 seed Georgia vs. No. 14 seed Missouri, 25 minutes after Game 1

The bottom four teams start off the 2024 SEC Basketball Tournament in the first round. No. 12 seed Arkansas and No. 13 seed Vanderbilt will be the first game at Bridgestone Arena, followed by No. 11 sed Georgia taking on No. 14 seed Missouri.

Second Round – March 14

Game 3: No. 8 seed LSU vs. No. 9 seed Mississippi State, 1 p.m. ET
Game 4: No. 5 seed South Carolina vs. Winner of Game 1, 25 minutes after Game 3
Game 5: No. 7 seed Texas A&M vs. No. 10 seed Ole Miss, 7 p.m. ET
Game 6: No. 6 seed Florida vs. Winner of Game 2, 25 minutes after Game 5

LSU and Mississippi State will get Day 2 of the SEC Basketball Tournament started with the 8-9 game at 1 p.m. ET. It’s the first day with four games on the slate, all of which will be broadcast on the SEC Network.

Quarterfinals – March 15

Game 7: No. 1 seed Tennessee vs. Winner of Game 3, 1 p.m. ET
Game 8: No. 4 seed Auburn vs. Winner of Game 4, 25 minutes after Game 7
Game 9: No. 2 seed Kentucky vs. Winner of Game 5, 7 p.m. ET
Game 10: No. 3 seed Alabama vs. Winner of Game 6, 25 minutes after Game 9

The top four seeds all received double byes in the 2024 SEC Basketball tournament, meaning they’ll play their first games during the quarterfinal round. No. 1 seed Tennessee will start the full day of games, taking on the winner of Game 3.

Semifinals – March 16

Game 11: Winner of Game 7 vs . Winner of Game 8, 1 p.m. ET
Game 12: Winner of Game 9 vs. Winner of Game 10, 25 minutes after Game 11

Semifinal Saturday gets underway at 1 p.m. ET on March 16, taking the bracket to four teams. From there, the winners will advance to the championship on Sunday.

Championship – March 17

Game 13: Winner of Game 11 vs. Winner of Game 12, 1 p.m. ET

The 2024 SEC Basketball tournament culminates with Sunday’s championship game. It will tip off at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN – and the winner will receive the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
