2025 4-star QB Cutter Boley sets multiple Big Ten visits
Hodgenville (Ky.) Lexington Christian Academy four-star quarterback Cutter Boley is taking a visit to Penn State on Oct. 22 and Michigan on Oct. 29, he told On3’s Chad Simmons on Friday. Boley is making his first trip to the Nittany Lions this weekend, while his upcoming trek to see the Wolverines will be his third.
Boley is the No. 46 overall prospect and No. 5 quarterback in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Kentucky.
The 6-foot-5, 205 pound prospect was last in Ann Arbor on July 31. During that summer visit, he got to interact with Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.
“He took us around the whole tour,” Boley told Simmons in August. “He did everything with us. And the people there were like, they’d never seen that happen before. They’d never seen coach Harbaugh actually take a recruit himself out on, like, a tour and stuff like that.”
Boley also spent time with co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Matt Weiss. The two discusses the Wolverines’ offense together.

“He showed me a lot of film, how they run their offense,” Boley said. “All that was really intriguing to me, how he also came from the pros. He came there from the Ravens. So all that type of stuff was really interesting to me.”
Michigan currently has one quarterback commit across its 2023 and 2024 recruiting classes. Kansas City (Mo.) three-star quarterback Kendrick Bell, the brother of Wolverines wide receiver Ronnie Bell, pledged to Harbaugh and his staff on Oct. 17.
Penn State is in a similar situation, with one signal-caller pledge in its 2023 and 2024 classes. West Des Moines (Iowa) Dowling Catholic three-star quarterback Jaxon Smolik chose the Nittany Lions on Aug. 12.
Boley has an On3 NIL Valuation of $67K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
