Washington (Okla.) four-star tight end Nate Roberts is one of the best at his position in the 2025 cycle.

The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder has already made the rounds in his recruitment — and he now has another pair of visits on the horizon. On3’s Sam Spiegelman reported on Wednesday that Roberts is set to visit Ohio State (Jan. 20) and Oregon (Feb. 3) in the coming weeks.

It’s the Buckeyes that are trending for the former Notre Dame commit, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). He visited Columbus in June and September and is now set to return to kick off the new year.

“Ohio State received a game visit from Roberts in September for their dominant win over Western Kentucky. After that visit, the Buckeyes jumped to the forefront of this recruitment and have not looked back,” Ohio State insider Alex Gleitman wrote when predicting Roberts to commit to OSU.

The in-state Oklahoma Sooners have also been consistently involved in Roberts’ recruitment and look to be a factor until he makes his final decision. Dan Lanning and the Ducks will also look to make a major impression on the blue-chipper when he makes the trek up to Eugene in February.

“OU makes it very clear that I am a top priority in their 2025 class,” Roberts told On3’s Chad Simmons of the Sooners. “They do a great job making me feel that way. They make sure that I get on the phone with them a couple times a week. Every visit that I take they show much love to me, from the Coaching staff to the fans. The feel/vibe that I have in Norman is very welcomed.”

Roberts is the No. 117 overall prospect and No. 5 TE in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 2 player in Oklahoma.

He has an On3 NIL Valuation of $63K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
