2025 4-star WR Taz Williams Jr. sets trio of visits
Red Oak (Texas) 2025 four-star wide receiver Taz Williams Jr. has scheduled a trio of visits, he announced on social media. Williams Jr. plans to visit Georgia Tech on January 20, Penn State the following week and Texas A&M on February 3.
Williams Jr. is the nation’s No. 255 overall prospect and No. 34 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 45 recruit in Texas.
Williams Jr. holds offers from a number of major programs, including Texas, Ohio State, Texas A&M, LSU, Georgia, Alabama and many more. He has visited Texas more than any other school, according to the On3 Visit Center.
He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $78K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Penn State ranks No. 13 in the 2025 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings with an impressive seven commits early on in the cycle. Jersey City (N.J.) Henry Snyder top-100 linebacker DJ McClary headlines the class for the Nittany Lions. He’s joined by a pair of additional blue-chip recruits in Beebe (Ark.) The Woodlands four-star running back Kiandrea Barker and Pittsburgh North Catholic four-star tight end Brady O’Hara.
Texas A&M holds a commitment from one prospect in the 2025 class — Spring (Texas) Legacy the School of Sport Sciences three-star interior offensive lineman Joshua Moses. Georgia Tech has yet to receive a commitment in this cycle.
