2025 ACC Basketball Tournament Projection: Bracket, schedule for field if season ended today - Feb. 27

The ACC Tournament is fast approaching, and with it the chance to potentially steal a bid in the NCAA Tournament for a team that might currently be off the bubble.
There will be more than a few teams in the ACC who fit that billing. So starting on March 11 in the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C., teams will begin squaring off looking to stack a few marquee wins to bolster the resume.
Duke will be the heavy favorite as the likely No. 1 overall seed in the tournament, while programs like Wake Forest and North Carolina might need to make a strong run to ensure an NCAA Tournament berth. Let’s dive into the projected ACC Tournament matchups.
ACC Tournament Projected Bracket and Schedule
There are currently eight teams in line to receive a bye in the ACC Tournament, with four set to receive a first-round bye (seeds 5-8) and four more set to receive a double bye (seeds 1-4). Having a bye is huge in a multi-day format.
The teams currently in line to receive a double bye are Duke, Louisville, Clemson and SMU. Meanwhile, the teams currently in the single bye spots are Wake Forest, North Carolina, Stanford and Georgia Tech.
