Penn State will host one of the rising 2025 prospects twice in March.

Providence (R.I.) Mount Pleasant 2025 athlete David Rodriguez is in the early stages of his high school career, but he is already drawing attention as a top prospect in the Northeast.

The 6-foot-1, 165-pounder recently reclassified up from the 2026 class, but already had more than a dozen Division I offers to his name. Among the schools interested are Penn State, Georgia, Michigan, Maryland, Kentucky and South Carolina.

And now that Rodriguez has moved into the rising junior class, he’s ready to start taking more unofficial visits. This month, he’ll be at Michigan (March 10), South Carolina (March 23), Penn State (March 17 & 25).

Rodriguez has already visited the Nittany Lions once last spring to watch spring practice and has also been to UConn, Florida State and Syracuse previously.
