The top seed entering the week is none other than the West Virginia Mountaineers. They’re followed by the Kansas Jayhawks after both teams reached the 40-win mark in 2025. With that in mind, all the action gets underway on Wednesday. We’ll know who the champion of the Big 12 is by Saturday evening, but until then? Check out the full Big 12 Baseball Tournament schedule, which will be updated throughout the wonderful week of baseball.

Game 1 – No. 12 BYU def. No. 5 Arizona State, 2-0

The lowest-seeded team in the Big 12 Baseball Tournament brought the energy needed to disrupt everything. BYU’s Crew McChesney RBI double got the scoring started in the top of the second, and Arizona State’s Ben Jacobs walked in a run in the top of the fifth. Those two runs were all the Cougars needed to move on to Thursday, as Justis Reiser and Ashton Johnson combined for a shutout. In a shocking turn of events, the Sun Devils are eliminated, and BYU is on to face Arizona.

Game 2 – No. 9 Cincinnati def. No. 8 Texas Tech, 6-5

Cincinnati defeated Texas Tech in the their opening matchup behind a three-hit, three-run third inning. Despite outscoring the Bearcats 4-2 in the final three innings, including a two-run bid in the eighth inning, Cincinnati would hold Texas Tech at bay in the final inning despite the Red Raiders’ best efforts late. Quinton Coats won player of the game honors for his home run in the fourth inning. They’ll advance through and play top-seeded West Virginia on Thursday.

Game 3 – No. 7 Oklahoma State def. No. 10 Baylor 4-3

Oklahoma State scored on a fielding error in the seventh inning, which would end up being the difference in the game after the Cowboys held the Bears scoreless in the final four innings. Mario Pesca logged 3.2 innings of scoreless baseball during that stretch. Oklahoma State scored its four runs on five hits, and will look to carry their momentum into Thursday against Kansas.

Game 4 – No. 11 Houston def. No. 6 Kansas State, 9-2

Kansas State opened up a 2-0 lead after the first inning, but that was limit of success the Wildcats enjoyed against Houston on Wednesday. Houston would pour on five runs in the top of the following inning and ever looked back. The Cougars added an insurance run to their total in the fifth and three more in the seventh to round out their scoring total on the night.
