2025 Big Ten Basketball Tournament Projection: Bracket, schedule for field if season ended today - March 6

The regular season is rapidly coming to an end in college basketball. Now nearly a week into March, the Big Ten Tournament is right around the corner and, with that, the field for the tournament is coming into place.
Wednesday was a busy day around the Big Ten. There were three games played, including a massive win for the Maryland Terrapins over the Michigan Wolverines. All of that led to a shuffling of the teams around the tournament, including within the teams who are currently getting a double bye and those on the edge of not making the field.
Nothing is set in stone just yet. However, here is a look at the Big Ten Tournament bracket and the schedule, as well as when the games are going to be played, as of March 6.
Big Ten Tournament Projected Bracket and Schedule
This season, as the Big Ten expanded to 18 teams, the conference made the decision that the bottom three teams in the conference standings won’t make the Big Ten Tournament. So far, Washington and Penn State already know that they’re not going to miss out on the conference tournament. Iowa is also in a position to miss the field, but there is time for that to change. Meanwhile, Michigan State is locked into the top overall seed.
