2025 Big Ten Basketball Tournament Projection: Bracket, schedule for field if season ended today - March 8

The 2024-25 college basketball regular season will come to an end after Sunday. With each team having one game left, this year’s Big Ten Conference Tournament field is beginning to shape up. However, there is one notable change from Friday’s projections.
Illinois defeated No. 18 Purdue 88-80 on Friday night, which moved the Boilermakers down to the No. 5 seed if the season ended today. That bumped up the Wisconsin Badgers to the No. 4-seed line. The top four seeds in the Big Ten Conference Tournament are given double byes into the quarterfinal, while seeds 5-8 only receive one bye. Action will get underway live from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis beginning on March 12 and will run through the championship game on March 16.
Iowa is currently outside of the field, and Penn State and Washington have already been eliminated from the tournament. With that in mind, here’s how the Big Ten Tournament projects as of Saturday morning, per the latest update on PlayoffStatus.com.
