The inaugural College Basketball Crown Tournament bracket has been revealed. Founded last year, the 2025 tournament will take place on the Las Vegas Strip at the end of March going into April.

The Crown begins Monday March 31st with the first round games at the MGM Grand. The second set of games is April 1st.

The full bracket for the Crown Tournament can be seen below. It features a mix of Power Four and non-Power Four teams vying for, well, the crown!

As far as the teams involved, there are: Utah, Butler, George Washington, Boise State, Nebraska, Arizona State, Georgetown, Washington State, DePaul, Cincinnati, Oregon State, UCF, Colorado, Villanova, Tulane and USC.

When FOX unveiled the tournament last spring, it was seen as a rival to the NIT, the other postseason tournament outside the regular NCAA Tournament. But this one is all in Las Vegas.

It features 16 teams, with two squads from the Big Ten, Big 12 and Big East receiving automatic bids. All three of those leagues have television deals in place with FOX.

“Postseason college basketball is one of the most exciting times of year and FOX Sports is proud to be at the forefront of efforts to evolve and elevate the sport,” said Jordan Bazant, Executive Vice President, FOX Sports.  “Alongside AEG and the Big Ten, Big 12 and BIG EAST, we are thrilled to provide more opportunities for student-athletes to compete in high quality postseason college hoops and for viewers to enjoy the chase for the College Basketball Crown.”

The NIT has lost some steam in recent years with teams that missed the NCAA Tournament opting out, in part to focus on the transfer portal, which opens up as the regular season ends. That has left the fields a bit less competitive than in years past. So, enter the Crown.
