2025 in-state breakdown: Devin Sanchez, Andrew Marsh headline top Texas prospects

Year in and year out Texas has some of the top high school football players in the country and the same can be said for the Class of 2025. On3 released its 2025 On300 last Monday and the state had 50 players make the list.

Of the 50 players from Texas that made it, 36 were ranked as four-star prospects.

Here’s a look at those 36 and an early glance at where their recruitment stands.

DL Michael Riles

School: Memorial
On3 Ranking: No. 12
On3 RPM: Houston 15.7%, Texas State 13.7%, Incarnate Word 11.8%

The Skinny: The No. 1 player in Texas per the 2025 On300, Michael Riles is already off to a hot start in his recruitment. He holds nine offers already but expect that number to jump significantly in the next few months.

CB Devin Sanchez

School: North Shore
On3 Ranking: No. 23
On3 RPM: Texas 34.9%, Oklahoma 30.6%, Alabama 13.7%

The Skinny: Devin Sanchez has visited Texas and Oklahoma twice already. His last visit to Austin was in January and he was back in Norman on March 25.

The Skinny: Andrew Marsh is one of the most coveted 2025 recruits in the country who says he’s continually talking with the likes of LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, TCU and USC amongst others. Texas hold a narrow lead on the RPM and he visited Austin on March 25.

The Skinny: Adrian Wilson has visited Baylor more than any other school up to this point in his recruitment but he’s also visited a few others this spring. He visited SMU on March 24, Oklahoma on March 25, UTSA on April 1 and will visit Arizona State on April 8.
