2025 IOL Connor Carty decommits from Texas A&M Aggies
Prosper (Texas) three-star interior offensive lineman Connor Carty announced Tuesday afternoon that he has decommitted from Texas A&M.
He had been committed to the Aggies since April 18.
“After careful consideration with my family, I have decided to Decommit from Texas A&M University,” Carty wrote on social media. “With that being said, my recruitment is 100% open!”
The 6-foot-4, 295-pound Carty is the nation’s No. 449 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 36 interior offensive lineman in the class and the No. 64 recruit from the state of Texas.

Texas A&M drops to 24 total commitments in its 2025 recruiting class. The top-10 group is headlined by Mesquite (Texas) Horn five-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers, who committed to A&M on Tuesday morning after decommitting from Missouri.
Additional top-100 prospects committed to the Aggies include Lancaster (Calif.) Quartz Hill cornerback Adonyss Currie, Bellville (Texas) defensive lineman DJ Sanders and Goodyear (Ariz.) Desert Edge corner Jamar Beal-Goines.
