“Auburn four-star DL signee Malik Autry has been a force today. Just got into the backfield again.” — Chad Simmons, On3 Director of Recruiting
“2026 South Carolina DB commit J’Zavien Currence bats Grady Adamson’s pass at the line and Michigan safety signee Jordan Young comes down with the interception. Strong few reps for Notre Dame signee EDGE Chris Burgess, who gets past 2026 OT Cortavious Tisaby to generate pressure.Burgess again comes around the end and forces a fumble by the East RB, who I believe was Shekai Mills-Knight.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
“Into full team session now. 2026 DL Valdin Sone is active early. He just made a nice stop at the line of scrimmage.” — Chad Simmons, On3 Director of Recruiting
“Miami EDGE signee Hayden Lowe stops 2026 RB D’shaun Ford for a short gain. SMU QB commit Ty Hawkins misses Minnesota’s Bradley Martino wide, with Texas CB Kade Phillips in coverage. On the next play, very good protection from Will Black (Notre Dame) and Isaac Sowells (NC State), but Hawkins can’t find an open receiver.
Hawkins gets to the corner on a scramble stepping around Will Black who has Texas A&M EDGE signee Marco Jones locked up. Hawkins picks up a would-be first-down.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
Updates from 7v7 period
01/08/2025 02:47:30 PM“2026 wideout Jordan Clay with a nice TD reception from Keisean Henderson. Hee’s a physical receiver that can separate.” — Chad Simmons, On3 Director of Recruiting
“While OL/DL worked on one end, the skill position players have been in the midst of 7v7. Couple of nice throws from Houston 2026 QB commit Keisean Henderson, including a a strong out route to 2026 RB Davian Groce.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
“2026 QB Bowe Bentley pumps right, goes deep left looking for Texas A&M commit Aaron Gregory, a little under-thrown and Oregon five-star safety signee Trey McNutt gets there for a PBU. McNutt is the top true safety in the class. Bentley then rips one into traffic, tipped up by Oklahoma DB signee Trystan Haynes and picked off by McNutt.” — Steve Wiltfong, On3 VP of Recruiting
“A nice pass breakup from Oregon CB signee Dorian Brew. Cut underneath the route to making a diving PBU.” — Chad Simmons, On3 Director of Recruiting
“Georgia five-star wideout signee Talyn Taylor is a common target for the quarterbacks. Along with Texas signee Jaime Ffrench, SMU WR signee Jalen Cooper and Ohio State WR signee Quincy Porter. The future Buckeye shows some physicality after the catch.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
Standouts from combined OL/DL period
01/08/2025 02:28:22 PM“Fast-paced OL/DL 1v1 period here. Strong showing from Clemson DL signee Amare Adams, who beat Texas A&M 5-star OT signee Lamont Rogers and Missouri IOL signee Henry Fenuku (twice). Good reps as well by Missouri OL Keiton Jones, Auburn DL Malik Autry, Notre Dame OT Will Black, and Michigan OT Andrew Babalola.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

Teams return to the field at Alamodome
01/08/2025 01:53:41 PM“The first joint practice of the week is here, and both teams have taken the field at the Alamodome. Five-Star Plus+ OT and Tennessee signee David Sanders Jr. is still not here, but still expected to come, per All-American Bowl staff.
… A couple WRs quietly putting together good days of practice are Daylan McCutcheon for the West and 2026 Devin Carter for the East. McCutcheon flipped from FSU to Texas and is a smooth route runner that creates easy separation and he’s sure-handed. Tracks the ball well. Has won his fair-share of 1-on-1 reps. Carter has also been a tough cover, a confident playmaker that is high on the likes of Auburn, LSU, Ohio State and Alabama among others.” — Steve Wiltfong, On3 VP of Recruiting
West team breaks for the morning
01/08/2025 11:51:38 AM“The West team is done for the morning. A few standouts for the West, in no particular order: Michigan OT signee Andrew Babalola had some impressive wins in 1-on-1s. Stoned 2026 EDGE Jamarion Carlton and showed a good anchor on contact. Alabama CB signee Chuck McDonald III had several wins in 1-on-1s. He jumped a Jalen Cooper (SMU) route for a pick, ran with Talyn Taylor (Georgia) and got a PBU and came down with another breakup against Andrew Marsh (Michigan). Good coverage instincts and ability to locate the ball.
Oklahoma OT signee Ryan Fodje showed very strong hands and pop at the point of attack. Stunned opposing DL’s in 1-on-1s. His lone loss that we saw was against a rip move by Valdin Sone. Texas WR signee Kaliq Lockett did well in 1-on-1s with good route-running and ball skills. Georgia WR signee Talyn Taylor had some of the crispest routes during the 1-on-1 session, especially when working out of the slot. Oklahoma CB signee Trystan Haynes had some nice wins in 1-on-1s.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
East Practice wrapped, combined session this afternoon
01/08/2025 11:51:16 AM“We’ve just wrapped things up at Trinity for East practice, and here’s a few takeaways. Early standouts that we felt showed some things this morning were WR Quincy Porter (Ohio State), WR Cortez Mills Jr. (Nebraska), 2026 QB Bowe Bentley, OL Isaac Sowells Jr. (NC State) and 2026 OL Darius Gray. Felt like the offensive line for Team East was awfully dominant all day, but some players along the front seven that we felt had their moments were DL Kevin Wynn (FSU), DL Amare Adams (Clemson) and 2026 LB Xavier Griffin (USC commit). Strong showing from 2026 four-star defensive back J’Zavien Currence. Another player on the offensive side of the ball that really flashed some impressive athletic ability even though he may not have gotten targeted all that much this morning was Kansas State TE signee Linkon Cure.” — Cody Bellaire, On3 National Scout and Steve Wiltfong, On3 VP of Recruiting
East Practice: A handful stand out in 1v1s
01/08/2025 11:41:09 AM“Elite 2026 offensive lineman Darius Gray has been kicking ass in 1-on-1’s. He’s been able to sink his weight and anchor the bull rush with ease. Notre Dame five-star OT Will Black looking a lot more comfortable at left tackle. Great movement skills for his size. Crazy balance and foot speed. Finished up team period and heading into special teams work now.” — Cody Bellaire, On3 National Scout
West Practice: Best of 1v1s
01/08/2025 11:20:18 AM“Strong 1v1 showings from Georgia WR signee Talyn Taylor, Alabama CB signee Chuck McDonald III and elite 2026 defensive back Bralan Womack. Really impressive juke move from Taylor for a TD over UCLA CB signee Jadyn Hudson. A few strong reps from Oklahoma CB signee Trystan Haynes as well.
Over at OL/DL, some great battles involving Michigan OT signee Andrew Babalola, Oklahoma OT signee Ryan Fodje, Michigan DL signee Nate Marshall, Miami EDGE signee Hayden Lowe and Texas A&M OT signee Lamont Rogers.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
East Practice: 2026 Texas A&M commit continues to stand out
01/08/2025 10:59:17 AMOne of the most impressive young prospects this week is Texas A&M 2026 four-star WR commit Aaron Gregory. He hauled in a nice touchdown catch in 7v7.
East Practice: Talented group along the lines
01/08/2025 10:56:27 AM“Good on good with Penn State OL signee Malachi Goodman stoning Clemson DL Amare Adams on the first rep of 1-on-1s here at East Practice. Then Adams coming back and winning against Goodman on the second rep. 2026 DL Elijah Golden with some shock in his hands in 1-on-1s. Extremely powerful.
NC State OL signee Isaac Sowells Jr. beats Amare Adams in 1-on-1s. He’s been ridiculous the last two days.” — Cody Bellaire, On3 National Scout
West Practice: Impressive group of WRs
01/08/2025 10:47:31 AM“As we’re watching the receivers go through drills, SMU signee Jalen Cooper is a clear standout. He has pillowy soft hands and makes catches look routine. Texas signee Kaliq Lockett and Georgia WR signee Talyn Taylor look good. Texas signee Daylan McCutcheon’s smooth movements have also stood out.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
East Practice: Auburn’s Malik Autry a physical standout
01/08/2025 10:36:57 AM“Auburn DL signee Malik Autry has some special traits as a massive interior defensive lineman. If he puts it all together, he will be special in the middle for the Tigers. Ohio State and Florida, among others tried to flip him down the stretch.
2026 four-star RB Shahn Alston showing the ability to beat LBs to the edge and get upfield. Committing this weekend. USC trending as the favorite right now. Iowa signee Will Hawthorne and 2026 LBs Tyler Atkinson and Xavier Griffin playing together. Good range and change of direction ability from all three. Hawthorne really sticking his nose in there as they work on inside runs.” — Steve Wiltfong, On3 VP of Recruiting
“Ohio State five-star WR signee Quincy Porter has such strong hands and does an excellent job tracking the football downfield.” — Cody Bellaire, On3 National Scout
West Practice: 5-star WR Talyn Taylor arrives
01/08/2025 10:35:08 AM“After being delayed by weather in the Chicago area, five-star wide receiver and Georgia signee Talyn Taylor is here for the West team on Day 2. Coming off a massive senior season.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
East Practice: Weather causing issues
01/08/2025 10:08:17 AM“Out at East Practice, and the weather is affecting players here early. It’s very cold and windy. SMU QB signee Ty Hawkins has dropped a couple of snaps because of the cold and wind.” — Chad Simmons, On3 Director of Recruiting
“As the East team is getting going, no sign yet of Tennessee Five-Star Plus+ OT signee David Sanders Jr. He was expected to arrive today after travel issues related to the winter weather across the country.” — Steve Wiltfong, On3 VP of Recruiting
