After visits to Texas and LSU in the past two weekends, a decision is in for one of the nation’s best players in the 2025 class.
On3 top-20 CB Jaboree Antoine has committed to LSU after spending the day in Baton Rouge getting even more familiar with the sights and sounds of Death Valley, as well as more time around Brian Kelly, Frank Wilson and Corey Raymond, who recently returned to LSU as the Tigers’ defensive backs coach.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound cornerback from New Iberia (La.) Westgate High School chose the in-state Tigers over Texas, Georgia and Tennessee. Alabama, Texas A&M, Miami and Michigan were also in the mix for Antoine, who was inspired by ….
“I wanted To stay home and bring DBU back, I know I’ll be developed for the next level and I know LSU will provide that for me.”
Antoine has been to LSU on several occasions over the past year, including a game day vs. Grambling State in September and a summer unofficial last July.
The No. 19 player in the On300 has developed connections with multiple members of the LSU staff in that stretch. Raymond, who offered Antoine at his previous stop in Gainesville, hails from the same hometown as Antoine. That’s a theme in this LSU coaching staff that appealed to elite DB.

“It’s a great atmosphere. There’s nothing like it, nothing like the culture there at LSU. There’s nothing like being home in Louisiana,” Antoine told On3.
“He had a lot, him coming back to LSU is a big thing for me, no other place like LSU and Corey Raymond in the picture was the icing on the cake,” he added on Raymond.
Antoine is the No. 45 overall prospect and No. 7 cornerback in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
On3 ranks him higher than other recruiting services, though. He checks in as the No. 19 recruit, No. 3 CB and No. 2 player in Louisiana in the 2025 On300.
