2025 OT RaiShaun McHaney commits to UCF

Indianapolis Lutheran offensive tackle RaiShaun McHaney has committed to UCF, he announced on Monday afternoon.
The 6-foot-8, 260-pounder visited Orlando last week and is now a late addition to the Knights’ 2025 recruiting class.
McHaney becomes the 15th commitment for new head coach Scott Frost and the UCF staff in the incoming class. Over the weekend, the Knights also added a pledge from Mccomb (Miss.) Parklane Academy defensive lineman Camp Lott.
As a senior for Indianapolis Lutheran, McHaney was a part of one of the state’s top 2A football programs once again. The Saints finished with a 12-2 record and checked in as the No. 52 team in the state overall, per the On3 Composite.
McHaney landed an offer while on his visit to the Big 12 program and is now in the mix, adding to a class that ranks No. 66 in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

More on UCF Recruiting
With Frost returning to head the Knights once again in 2025, UCF lost some of its firepower in the 2025 class as it transitioned from former head coach Gus Malzahn, who left to become the new offensive coordinator at Florida State.
The class still features Kissimmee (Fla.) Osceola four-star running back Taevion Swint, a top-400 overall prospect and top-25 RB in the cycle. He’s the lone blue-chip signee in the class to date.
McHaney is now one of four offensive linemen in the class, alongside Jonesboro (Ga.) JUCO offensive tackle LaParka Langston, Cocoa (Fla.) three-star IOL Jaquez Joiner and Roswell (Ga.) three-star IOL Andrew Stargel.
Other top signees in the class include: Palm Beach (Fla.) Central three-star safety Tony Williams, Tampa Bay Tech three-star cornerback Rukeem Stroud, Covington (Ga.) Newton three-star defensive lineman Ryshawn Perry, Saint Augustine (Fla.) three-star wide receiver Carl Jenkins and Bushnell (Fla.) South Sumter three-star linebacker Malakhi Boone.
