Elite 2025 QB George MacIntyre names his top 10 schools
George MacIntyre is one of the top quarterbacks in the country. The 6-foot-5.5, 185-pound junior out of Brentwood (Tenn.) Academy has national offers and he ranks as the No. 13 overall prospect in the 2025 On3 Industry Rankings.
He is not looking to rush his college commitment, but the four-star signal caller is ready to narrow his focus. Alabama, Auburn, Florida International, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee and UCLA made the list.
“I appreciate any school that has taken their time and effort to recruit me,” MacIntyre told On3. “It has been a true blessing. I can only thank God for what He’s given me. But at the end of the day, it’s a business and I only have so much time left in the rest of the season to take visits. These are the schools I will be focusing on.”
MacIntyre has attended games at Alabama and LSU this season. He will be at Florida International Wednesday for their game, then at Tennessee this weekend when the Vols host Texas A&M. A visit to Auburn for the Iron Bowl has been on his radar as well.

A decision is expected after MacIntyre’s junior season. He has talked about some time early in 2024.
On3 Scouting Report
Tall, strong-armed passer who looks like one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2025 cycle early on. Has a slender build, checking in around 6-foot-5, 180-pounds. Flashes a quick, tight throwing motion with the ability to drive the ball downfield with ease. Comfortable delivering to multiple levels of the field from within the pocket or outside of structure. Capable of placing high-level throws into tight windows. More of a pass-first quarterback, but shows encouraging pocket movement and improvisational skills as a first-year varsity starter. Posted an efficient sophomore season while playing against good competition. Doubles as a top basketball player with Power 5 offers on the hardwood. Will need to continue adding mass and strength to his frame. Projects as one of the top 2025 quarterback prospects
