Less than a week after crowning its 2024 champion, the SEC is gearing up for next year. The league revealed its full 2025 schedule Wednesday, including the list of dates and opponents.

Last year was one of change for the SEC. Divisions went away as two new members – Oklahoma and Texas – officially joined the fold. That made it a 16-team conference, and one of those newcomers played in the SEC Championship last week.

Texas fell to Georgia in Atlanta on Saturday as the Bulldogs won their second conference title in three years. That sealed an automatic berth in the College Football Playoff for UGA, although the Longhorns still made the 12-team field. They will host Clemson in the first round later this month.

But even as both teams, along with Tennessee, continue their quest for a national title, the schedule was being put together for next season. The matchups came out Wednesday to start building anticipation for the 2025 campaign.

The 2025 college football season will get underway with Week 0 on Aug. 23, 2025. Here are the full schedules for each SEC team. (This story will be updated live during the reveal show.)

Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama had a solid first season under Kalen DeBoer, finishing 9-3 and just missing out on the College Football Playoff. The Crimson Tide will look to keep building momentum in 2025 with a highly ranked recruiting class coming into the fold.

After entering the 2024 season on some hot-seat lists, Sam Pittman and Arkansas are heading to a bowl game. That earned him another year in Fayetteville, and the Razorbacks will try to continue their upward trajectory.

Auburn Tigers

Auburn struggled in Year 2 under Hugh Freeze, finishing with a 5-7 record to again miss out on a bowl game. But the Tigers made some splashes on the recruiting trail as they brought in the No. 6-ranked recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Ranking.

Florida Gators

Despite a rough start to the season, Florida ended the 2024 season on an upward trajectory, and coach Billy Napier is staying in Gainesville, as well. The Gators are heading to a bowl game after a 7-5 campaign and will enter the 2025 season as one of the surging teams in college football.

For the second time in three years, Georgia is the SEC champion. The Bulldogs defeated Texas in the title game and enter the College Football Playoff as the No. 2 seed in the 12-team bracket, meaning they get a bye to the quarterfinals.

Kentucky Wildcats

The 2024 season was a rough one for Kentucky, which finished 4-8 on the year. The Wildcats will try to bounce back in 2025, starting with a Week 1 matchup against Toledo.

LSU Tigers

In Year 3 under Brian Kelly, LSU had an up-and-down go to an 8-4 record. The Tigers got a boost Wednesday night, though, when quarterback Garrett Nussmeier announced his return for the 2025 season – which will provide continuity at the position.

Mississippi State Bulldogs

It was a rough go for Mississippi State in the first year of the Jeff Lebby era. The Bulldogs went just 2-10, but will try to turn the tables in 2025 as quarterback Blake Shapen makes his way back to Starkville after missing this most of this season with an injury.

Missouri Tigers

Missouri put together a 9-3 regular season in 2024 after winning 11 games a year ago. The Tigers finished the year ranked in the College Football Playoff Top 25 and will now get ready for the Music City Bowl against Iowa.

Oklahoma Sooners

It was a tough first year in the SEC, but Oklahoma is going bowling. The Sooners went 6-6 during the regular season – with a signature win over Alabama – and will now undergo some changes on the offensive side of the ball with Ben Arbuckle taking over as offensive coordinator.

Ole Miss Rebels

Despite entering 2024 with CFP expectations, Ole Miss missed out on the bracket. The Rebels went 8-4 during the regular season, although they got a notable win over Georgia in Oxford to avenge last year’s blowout loss.

South Carolina Gamecocks

Through the final weeks of the regular season, South Carolina was one of the hottest teams in the country en route to a 9-3 record. The Gamecocks have momentum heading into 2025 and will kick things off against Virginia Tech in Week 1.

Tennessee Volunteers

Tennessee punched its ticket to the College Football Playoff in 2024 thanks to a staunch defense and a high-powered rushing attack. The 2025 season will be interesting to see what’s next for Nico Iamaleava’s development as he heads into Year 2 as the starter.

Texas Longhorns

The first year in the SEC was an impressive one for Texas, which made it to the SEC Championship. The Longhorns are also heading back to the College Football Playoff, where they will host Clemson in the opening round at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium.

Texas A&M Aggies

Mike Elko’s debut season at Texas A&M ended with an 8-4 record, and the Aggies just missed out on an SEC Championship berth. The Aggies remained hot on the recruiting trail, though, as they landed the No. 8-ranked 2025 class in the country, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Ranking.

Vanderbilt Commodores

Clark Lea won SEC Coach of the Year this season as Vanderbilt became one of the stories of college football. The Commodores are heading to a bowl game after finishing 6-6, just one year after a 2-10 campaign.

The SEC schedules are set for each team in the league for 2025, which will be the second year without divisions. Of course, conversations are still going about whether changes could be in the future and an additional game could be added to the conference slate down the road.
