2025 TE Corbin Laisure commits to Colorado, ready to run through brick wall for Deion Sanders
Bluff City (Tenn.) Sullivan East tight end/defensive end Corbin Laisure will play his college football at Colorado, giving head coach Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes his commitment prior to Saturday’s spring game.
The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Laisure chose Colorado over his other finalists in Arizona State, Louisville and Ole Miss.
“I am choosing them firstly because I feel that is where God is leading me and I have a great peace about going there,” Laisure told On3. “I also love the coaching staff and the love and accountability they give their players.
“I also love Boulder,” Laisure continued. “It is a special place and there is nowhere like it.”
Laisure is a two-way standout on the prep level where he had 64 receptions for 774 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior with 110 tackles and an interception. He’ll play tight end for Colorado.
“I am also a huge fan of Coach (Pat) Shurmur and I believe I will fit in well with his offense,” Laisure said.

Tight end coach Brett Bartolone, assistant director of player personnel Devin Rispress and Gunnar White were the lead recruiters for Laisure. He visited last September.
“Of course Coach Prime is absolutely electric and it will be a great blessing to play for him,” Laisure said. “Me and him sat and talked for around 30 minutes and I was ready to run through a brick wall for the man.
“I think the future is very bright for that team and I believe they have huge potential and will reach it.”
