Updated Under-Armour All-America Game roster breakdown

Three visits lined up for top uncommitted 2025 EDGE

12/29/2024 03:49:32 PM

Philadelphia (Pa.) Imhotep four-star EDGE Zahir Mathis is part of a small group of blue-chip 2025 prospects who are unsigned as the new year looms.

Mathis decommitted from Ohio State in mid-November after being pledged to the Buckeyes for nearly a year.

“I’ve got a couple visits lined up this month coming up: FSU, Michigan and UCLA,” he said on Sunday.

Nation’s No. 1 RB says Michigan is his top school

12/29/2024 02:59:44 PM

Earlier Sunday, four-star running back Javian Osborne said that Michigan was his top school at the moment. But he isn’t the only one high on the Wolverines.

Savion Hiter, the country’s top RB in the On3 Industry Ranking, tells Steve Wiltfong that U-M is also on top for him. Georgia, Ohio State and Tennessee are among the other top contenders at the moment.

Alabama, Auburn standing out with On3 top-100 DL

12/29/2024 02:30:32 PM

Nolan Wilson of Picayune Memorial (Miss.) visited a handful of schools during the season. But it’s two rivals from the state of Alabama who appear to be on top right now: Alabama and Auburn.

The Tigers hosted him for his first-ever college visit, and the Crimson Tide were one of the first schools to offer him in October. Ole Miss, LSU and others are in the picture and looking to overtake their SEC rivals.

5-star WR liking a trio of SEC schools

12/29/2024 01:51:17 PM

Hattiesburg (Miss.) five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys has over two dozen offers. But three schools stand out right now, he told On3’s Chad Simmons: Alabama, Texas A&M and Tennessee.

“I visited Tennessee twice for games this season and I am talking to them almost every day,” he said. “Alabama talks to me a lot too and I had a great time there back in the summer. I want to get back soon. Texas A&M is a school I visited three times for games and I loved it.

Top-100 RB has Michigan and Texas on top

12/29/2024 01:40:15 PM

Forney (Texas) four-star back Javian Osborne is a top priority for multiple schools in 2026, including Michigan, Texas, Alabama, Florida State, Notre Dame and more.

As it stands today, he told On3’s Steve Wiltfong, the Wolverines have a slight edge over the Longhorns at the top of his list.

Highly coveted safety Zech Fort could be nearing a decision

12/29/2024 12:44:14 PM

IMG Academy‘s four-star safety Zech Fort has been working through the recruiting process since his freshman year. Over 30 schools have offered the No. 101 prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking and he is nearing a big cut, he told On3’s Chad Simmons.

Fort plans to get down to 5-6 schools in January before potentially announcing his commitment in February.

Oregon, Georgia leading for Immanuel Iheanacho

12/29/2024 12:00:52 PM

Five-Star Plus+ OT Immanuel Iheanacho is eyeing four schools for official visits, as he told On3’s Chad Simmons. But two schools are at the top right now:

“Oregon is my new No. 1, but Georgia is right there at No. 2,” he told On3’s Steve Wiltfong. Both are working hard to get the standout of Maryland for OVs this summer.

No. 2 2026 RB high on a handful of schools

12/29/2024 11:29:42 AM

The nation’s No. 2 RB in 2026, Derrek Cooper, will play this week and is particularly high on a handful of schools, he told On3’s Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong.

Georgia and Miami are the two standing out the most, but Alabama, Auburn, Ohio State and Texas A&M are up on his list as well, he told Simmons.

Georgia OT signee checks in

12/29/2024 11:11:05 AM

Georgia offensive tackle signee Juan Gaston was one of a few signees along the line this cycle for Kirby Smart and Co. The Atlanta (Ga.) Westlake star checked in at 6-foot-8 and 388 pounds today, per On3’s Steve Wiltfong.

Five-star OT looking at 4 schools for OVs right now

12/29/2024 11:06:12 AM

Rockville (Md.) Georgetown Prep five-star offensive tackle Immanuel Iheanacho is a top-five prospect in 2026 and has over 30 offers to his name. He told On3’s Chad Simmons that he is still communicating with more than a dozen schools, but has four in mind for official visits. He plans to commit before the start of his senior season next August.

Alabama QB signee considered other visits, but stuck with Tide

12/29/2024 10:41:07 AM

Alabama signee and Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Keelon Russell tells Steve Wiltfong that he nearly took visits to LSU and Colorado before signing with the Tide. Texas was another school who made a late push. But he felt loyalty to Alabama, who was there before he blew up onto the national scene.

“I respected them for that. Alabama came to one of my worst practices as a quarterback. I was off that day. And for them to still give me a chance to be their quarterback and saw something in me, I was like, ‘Man, this is crazy.'”

NIL money was ‘thrown around’ but he said he sees that as short-end value versus long-term value.

“If you get paid $1 million and then go stink it up in college, no booster is going to want to pay to see you play. You might get benched and your career is over, so I think about if a school offered me $250K right now and the next three years I dominate and win the Heisman and stuff, then you can be worth $5 million and get to the pros. … I know that if I do my thing it’s going to come regardless.”

No. 1 OT Jackson Cantwell looking to narrow list before OVs

12/29/2024 10:39:18 AM

Five-Star Plus+ OT Jackson Cantwell tells On3’s Steve Wiltfong that is currently talking to about 10 schools, but is looking to get that number down to four before he locks in official visits for the summer.

He only has one trip in the works for the new year, a visit to Texas A&M potentially in January.

2026 No. 1 Zion Elee focused only on Maryland

12/29/2024 09:57:37 AM

On3’s No. 1 recruit in the 2026 class, Zion Elee, committed to Maryland on December 7. He tells Chad Simmons that he has not responded to any other schools that have reached out since he committed to Maryland. Oregon, Penn State and Alabama are potentially schools he could take OVs to down the road, but said his head is all Maryland at this time.

Top 2026 prospects have arrived

12/29/2024 09:50:34 AM

The nation’s top two 2026 prospects will be participating in this week’s practices and Thursday’s game — Five-Star Plus+ OT Jackson Cantwell and five-star EDGE Zion Elee.

Will be fun to watch those two get matched up.

Florida leads with 7 future Gators in the game

12/29/2024 09:31:44 AM

No program will be better represented in Thursday’s game than Florida, which boasts seven signees on the final rosters sent out earlier this week.

Headlining the list are elite receivers Vernell Brown III and Dallas Wilson, who the Gators flipped from Oregon after he signed with the Ducks earlier this month. A great opportunity for Billy Napier and Co. to showcase what they’re building this week with a number of key recruits.

JaReylan McCoy ready to announce commitment

12/29/2024 09:22:57 AM

Tupelo (Miss.) High On300 defensive lineman JaReylan McCoy is one of a number of top juniors playing in this year’s game, and he’s also announcing his commitment.

USC, Tennessee and LSU are his top three schools, and On3’s Steve Wiltfong caught up with him about each.
