Houston Fort Bend Marshall three-star wide receiver Ja’Kayden Ferguson has decommitted from Kentucky, he announced on social media Wednesday evening.

Ferguson had been committed to the Wildcats since June 16.

“My recruitment is %100 back open I am no longer committed to the University of Kentucky please respect my decision,” Ferguson wrote.

Ferguson officially visited LSU last weekend for the Tigers’ game against Alabama, according to KSR.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Ferguson is the nation’s No. 521 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 84 wide receiver in the class and the 74th-ranked recruit from Texas.
