2025 WR Ja'Kayden Ferguson decommits from Kentucky
Houston Fort Bend Marshall three-star wide receiver Ja’Kayden Ferguson has decommitted from Kentucky, he announced on social media Wednesday evening.
Ferguson had been committed to the Wildcats since June 16.
“My recruitment is %100 back open I am no longer committed to the University of Kentucky please respect my decision,” Ferguson wrote.
Ferguson officially visited LSU last weekend for the Tigers’ game against Alabama, according to KSR.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Ferguson is the nation’s No. 521 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 84 wide receiver in the class and the 74th-ranked recruit from Texas.

Kentucky’s 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 23 nationally in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. The clutter of Wildcats is led by Frankfort (Ky.) Western Hills four-star defensive lineman Javeon Campbell is the top player in the state and has been committed to Kentucky since July 2.
Additional blue-chip commits for the Blue and White are running back Marquise Davis, safety Martels Carter, EDGE Cedric Works, cornerback Andrew Purcell and defensive lineman Kalen Edwards.
